ENR-ZR Series Automatic RC Absorber

I.Overview

The ENR-ZR series automatic RC absorbers(referred to as ENR-ZR)are independently developed by our company to meet the demands of complex field environments.Specifically designed for medium-voltage systems of 35KV and below,they effectively limit the damage caused by switching overvoltage to inductive loads such as generators,motors,transformers,and reactors.They have been widely applied in fields including power,metallurgy,petrochemicals,mining,construction,and environmental protection.

The ENR-ZR series self-controlled RC(resistor-capacitor)absorbers are designed to protect inductive loads on the load side of vacuum circuit breakers from operational overvoltages.However,when RC absorbers are installed on both the load side and busbar side of the circuit breaker,they can effectively limit the amplitude and frequency of operational overvoltages on both sides of the breaker.This significantly improves the voltage drop across the breaker's contacts,reduces the likelihood of breaker restrikes and external flashovers in the arc-extinguishing chamber,providing auxiliary protection for the circuit breaker.

The ENR-ZR series self-controlled RC absorbers are designed for various power grid systems,with a capacitance of up to 0.1μF,effectively absorbing the energy of possible operational overvoltages in the system.They offer ample margin and broad protection coverage.Particularly for 35KV systems,the capacitance can be increased to 0.2μF for special protection objects like electric furnace transformers,enhancing the protective effect.

2.Model Meaning

Z:Motor type(for generators,engines)P:Distribution type(for transformers,reactors,lines)

For example:ENR-ZR-6P is a resistance-capacitance absorber produced by Baoding Enol Electric Equipment Co.,Ltd.,used for protecting 6KV transformers(reactors,lines,transformers,etc.).

III.Operating Conditions

1.Indoor type;

2.Ambient temperature:not lower than-40°C,not higher than+55°C;

3.The altitude should not exceed 4500m;customization is available for altitudes beyond 4500m based on actual conditions.

4.Relative humidity:not exceeding 95%(at 25℃);

5.Grid frequency:58~62Hz(for 60Hz systems),48~52Hz(for 50Hz systems);

6.The installation site should be free from chemical corrosive gases,vapors,and explosive dust in the air;

7.The ENR-ZR series self-controlled RC absorber's outer casing has a minimum nominal creepage distance of no less than 20mm/kV,making it suitable for use in moderately polluted environments.

1.(F)is an optional accessory with an action counter;

2.For weakly insulated equipment in 35kV systems,such as electric furnace transformers,specially designed products with a capacity of 0.2μF can be provided to enhance protection;

3.For various non-standard models,parameters can be customized according to specific customer requirements.

V.Usage Guidelines

1.The ENR-ZR series of self-controlled RC absorbers are specialized equipment designed to protect against switching overvoltages and can also be used to guard against lightning overvoltages.

2.The ENR-ZR series automatic control RC absorbers should be connected between the output side of the vacuum circuit breaker(vacuum contactor)current transformer and the motor(transformer)to prevent busbar short-circuit accidents in case of product failure.As shown in Figure 3;

3.The ENR-ZR automatic control RC absorbers are categorized into Z-type(suitable for protecting generators and motors)and P-type(suitable for protecting transformers,reactors,and lines).The appropriate product should be selected based on the protected object during ordering and installation;

4.As an optional feature,this product can be equipped with an operation counter.Customers may choose the product with(F)as needed;

5.The ENR-ZR series automatic control RC absorbers may be damaged in case of prolonged resonant overvoltage or arc grounding overvoltage in the system.Other protective measures should be adopted for these two types of overvoltages;

6.For on-site installation and acceptance considerations,please refer to the product installation and operation manual included in the packing materials;

7.If users require customized unipolar or special voltage level non-standard products,they can make a request to our company,and the matter will be resolved through negotiation during the ordering process;

8.The standard length of external product leads is 0.5m.Please specify any special requirements when placing an order.

9.Strictly follow the product installation manual for testing,installation,and use.Our company is not responsible for any product damage or accidents caused by incorrect testing,installation,or usage.
